Solar Chandalier...
October 30th, 2009 in member junkI like taking old chandaliers and pulling all the insides out and turning them into candleliers...I have made a lot with tea cups and they look really neat. I had this one sitting down stairs and I got this brillant idea to use solar lights inside instead of candles (Way more cleaner and easier) I had to find the right size to fit inside the globes and I did...the base needed to be cut down to fit inside so I cut down just the plastic stake part that you insert into the ground and glued it inside the metal holder (the tops can be taken out). When I need it charged I just hang it outside on a hook that I use in the Summer for hanging baskets of flowers...it can be charged in all seasons as long as you have a sunny day. The charge lasts right into the morning and it is a good night light...I want to make little lamp ones that you can charge and place throughout your house...Off to the re-store...
