I remember watching "The Birds" for the first time - I must have been VERY young...it freaked me out!

Thanks for the post - I can tell you had BIG fun with it!!!

Holidays typically involve a certain amount of discretionary spending in celebration of that holiday, and Halloween spending is already beginning! Halloween spending includes setting up hayrides, mazes, haunted houses, and popular Halloween costumes. Halloween also means more candy and Pepto Bismol to go with it. This year, Michael Jackson costumes are already selling at a record pace, and lots of people will be out there with Thriller costumes. Halloween is fast rising as one of the biggest spending holidays. People are even dressing up their pets for Halloween – who doesn't love an insipid and annoying Chihuahua in a tutu? There will be plenty of Halloween spending of short term loans from loan lenders on cool costumes and events for sure this year.

junkermidge writes: Candy, ARE YOU SOME KIND OF GENIUS??!! That is such a GREAT post! Hilarious! Have to admit I had to get a little help on JARS (just a little slow today). Love the oil can for witches! Never been a big fan of scary movies, but do remember in high school catching Motel Hell-- hotel guests were planted in the garden with there "heads" as heads of cabbage(?). Couldn't decide if we were supposed to be scared or it was comedy. Anyway, I've seen The Shining (just last year for the first time), and of course Jaws, but that's about it for the list. Halloween night I'll probably be watching Fox News -- some might feel that's about as scary as it gets!

Love this site it is "FULL" of such creative
souls. I will be going into work today for a Halloween
party (should be lots and lots of fun)

My all time scary movie is Jeepers Creepers part
1 or 2...I hear they are coming out with part 3
(YIKES)!!

Hubby's is the original Exorcist and Sonny Boy's is The Thing...Both Men in my house are real time horror movie junkies...Lucky me huh??

We should post pictures of our costumes tomorrow (if you dare)?? Posted: 11:22 am on October 31st
upyourattic writes: These are great - you've got quite an imagination there! I've seen some of these but my all time favorite has to be Night of the Living Dead ...it's so old now and the scary effects are so funny now with all the reality in movies these days. It still gives me the creeps, though!

Thanks for the post and what a fun thing to wake up to!
