Wow, this picture doesn't tell you very much. I'm such a tease...ha! This is from Lani's booth. It's beautifully done in winter white and chocolate brown with touches of red. I'm sure she will be sharing some images with you. Inside the booth there are projects and ideas created for JMS. You'll be seeing those later too!
First on my must-have list is this beautiful stack of drawers. I know just what they will become! The colors are too die for yummy.
Love, love, love these! I can see just one of these enbellished with some greens, twine, and ribbon on my front hall table. Simple and elegant. Now that's the way to greet your guests!
More of the round junk!!! There are enough of these to do an entire tree. Can you guess what my tree might look like this year?
With a little TLC, this doo-hicky would make a delightful little crown. Do you know what it is?
Now for the comedy portion of this post!
Nu Way Calf and Cow Weaner
Jabs the animal doing the dirty work...weans calves or cows from sucking themselves or each other???!!!! Now that's real nice.
This one might top my enema box.
My favorite find. I hope, I hope I get them! I am such a kid when it comes to junk. These are awesome glass battery containers. The surgar plums dancing in my head at the moment are saying water softener salt and ornaments or perhaps a winter wonderland with vintage trees.
Here's a detail shot of the Exide logo. Cool, huh?
A jar of ball bearings? But of course!!
And of course books. I love old books any time of the year, but even more so during th holidays. Let the merriment begin!

Oh, this has been fun! JMS contributor, Lanette Lorsung has a booth for the first time at this occassional sale and I was lucky enough to help her set up, decorate, and create a little Christmas magic. While doing this I also took some time to snoop around the shop to see what all of the other vendors had up their sleeves. Hmmm...imagine that!! Here is a sneak peek at just a few of the items available. These are all on my wish list for holiday decorating and gift giving. If I'm lucky enough to get to these items before someone else nabs them, they'll be showing up as projects on the site. Don't worry now, I won't forget about Thanksgiving and winter projects, but you can expect to see Christmas ideas starting to pop up. Wish me luck at the sale! Remember...make sure to share favorite junking hot spots in your area. Here's the details for this month at Second Hand Rose.

Was at Rose's on Tuesday, after I added some things to our area at Yesterday's Charm (down by the lake). Loved the "whites" area, and thought to myself-"this looks totally JunkMarket". Made me miss your big events in Long Lake! Wish Lani the best of luck at Rose's. Her shop got me into this crazy business 9 years ago! Used to drag my toddlers to all the occasional sales in the area and feed them cookies and candy at every shop to keep them happy! Buffalo is an awesome town for junk and inspiration!
Thanks,

I love the ball bearings in a jar - very cool! And the drawers are fab too.
I don't know what that "do-hickey" is, but it looks a little scary - haha!
Looking forward to your Christmas creations!

Sue, what a great bunch of potential holiday junk. You know my favorite is going to be your Christmas tree decked out in all those little wheels. What’s the deal with your Nu-Way Weaner contraption? I don’t think I EVER want to see that thing in action. Hopefully there’s not a human version.
