The blushing bride all ready for her big day. Dum, dum, di, dum!!
Here is all of her stuff waiting in the dressing room. Her body is made from a scale and her legs from mouthpieces and washers. The head is a wee little pumpkin and that beautful face is compliments of the Hardware Hank. Here jewels are vintage pearls and hose clamp earrings on loan from Tiffany's. The haute couture gown was inspired by a buffing wheel. Hair and makeup were provided by the JUNKMARKET Style Salon.
The girl's gotta have a body, right? Something round perhaps? A little scale i use to hold my kitchen sponges in did the trick! You'll notice she's one pint dry. She had a visit from Dracula earlier today!
The next item on the agenda...a pair of legs. The mouthpieces provided a long and lanky look with feet big enough to support her through the ceremony. I glued a washer to the top of each leg to provide stands for the body. I guess you could say she is armed with double garters. Ha!
The most important detail of any wedding is the dress. Our bride chose a fluffy little number from a very posh boutique, The Garage on Bayside Road. After a few alterations it was just right. Now if she can just manage to stay away from the sweets until the big day we'll be good to go!
Here she is during her fitting. I think she is going to look fetching, don't you? Off for some pampering at the salon now!
At the salon I cut off the top of her head and hollowed it out. It is Halloween afterall! I retained the top portion to use as a wedding hat.
I then stuffed her head with green stuff, better known as floral foam.
There's my little pretty fresh from the salon! Don't peek...she doesn't have her dress on yet!
Oops, she can't go down the aisle without some baubles and beads. Her to die for earrings are hose clamps from aisle 12B.
And last, but not least her bridal bouquet. I glued a small oil can to her hand and added some fresh flowers. Notice she has two arms, but only on hand in the shape of a hook. That Junkenstein...he's a lucky man!
Awww, she's a vision! Her attendants are weights. I thought the looked a little like tombstones. If you look really closely a boney little ghost is on board as the ring bearer. Where's Junkenstein? The GTB is on the L-A-M-B.
The blushing bride all ready for her big day. Dum, dum, di, dum!!
I think I'm getting to like Halloween!!! Everyone does flowers in gourds and i still like it. Some things just never grow old. I did however want to add a little JUNKMARKET Style twist to this tradtional floral bouquet. Come along with me as we get the future Mrs. Junkenstein dolled up for her big day! Please note the use of items from my round collection!

Are there invitations for the wedding yet? You could make one from junk! Maybe that's where Junkenstein is - out gathering the goods...
Thanks for the smile!

You REALLY do love Halloween. That’s the coolest looking pumpkin person I’ve ever seen.
