Threshing tray coffeetable
October 24th, 2009 in member junkThis oak winnowing tray with tin reinforced corners must have had a lot of use in its day--just enough to make it beautiful. Years ago (probably when threshing machines took over this backbreaking work) someone decided that it could still be used as a table of sorts and sloppily slapped some legs on it. That along with its wonderful aging made it a "must buy" for us to add to the "celebration of entropy" that our condo has become. It has been our one and only coffee table for almost ten years now. No coasters needed for this one!
