I'd always hated the ugly, generic light fixture in this hallway! Before replacing it entirely with the chandelier or vintage pendant light of my dreams, I decided to remove the existing glass globe and "make something" to cover the fixture! Using the store Anthropologie as my inspiration, I turned to the Japanese art of "Kirigami"...folded and cut paper...and voila! Doves hanging from an embroidery hoop, paper clips and a few vines and twigs procured from the great outdoors!
