old doors
October 18th, 2009 in member junkThe last pic is the back wall of my fence on my patio. I love old doors, they have so much history! I used my staple gun to add christmas lights and its so cute at night! The first picture is the newest chandelier. made from a weird form of metal I found at the thrift store for a dollar, a flocked wreath, fake pearls and butterflies that light up. My husband hits his head everytime he walks through the livingroom so it will be in my store as soon as I get the money to build it. The fireplace was made from a twin headboard I found at a local junk store, I added a shelf I also found plaster angels and glued them on the front, added a mirror. I make custom raggedy dolls, this is my family. I sell them at flea markets for 25.00
Currently, I am trying to find a really unique fire screen. It has fake logs in it that light up. I was thinking of three large wood frames attached togeather with tiny brackets, and stain glass them. If any one has an idea that is really unique please email me. The last pic is a hope chest with claw feet. the veneer was peeled off, so i put a piece of lace on it, taped old family black and white pics, and heavy clear plastice from walmart. The glass comp.s wanted 170! I stretched it and stapled it under lid. Thanks, Annie
