A RESPITE IN THE WORKSHOP
October 10th, 2009 in member junkI wanted to use an old rope bed I have and just love, so I created this little "corner of respite" in my workshop. I set up the bed and used some very old doors -which I had removed from old barns years ago- as a backdrop. Love these doors. I placed some old lantern hangers on the doors and draped some fabric over them as a makeshift canopy. I then hung an old iron chandalier and another candle piece. I have never used this area for anything except as a catch place for other junk! Too many projects to even think about laying down on this old bed and maybe dreaming of the gal who may have at one time really knew what it meant to "sleep tight"!
