Trinkets and Treasures Cake
October 13th, 2009 in member junkI originally saw this idea years ago...with a baby-shower theme... I modified it for Christmas time ...almost time to bring it out again. I wanted to display some of my favorite childhood treasures, and supplemented with bits and pieces my kids collected. I even managed to loosely spell out their names in the alphabet blocks. I covered a wooden circle with craft paper and glued down the outer circle of the blocks first, and built up from there. The inside is hollow...styrofoam peanuts and aluminum foil fill the interior space. Sorry! Some of the shots are blurry...
