I made this fun yet a bit exotic canopy by using netting infused with feathers as the fabric element.  I then removed the legs from an old Egyptian table, turned it upside down and mounted it to the ceiling with antique chain and an old lamp base.  I draped the netting through the table and behind a wonderful antique iron wedding bed.  A fantasy place to dream  about days gone by.
