Here's are the culprits. Metal spray paint (brushed nickel variety), Gorilla Super-Duper Glue, a bedspring, a metal bell from a vintage cash register, part of a jewelry clasp, vintage crystals (of course the tear drop makes an appearance), and a litlle stubby white candle. Book 'em Danno!
And here you have it folks...contemporary elegance!
A little Gorilla will do ya! Some might call that a monkey, but I call it a little Gorilla.
After you have applied glue to the jewelry clasp adhere it to the bell.
The little loop pops through the hole making it easy to connect the strand of crystals later.
Now add some Gorilla Super Glue to the top of the spring.
The bell fits perfectly. The glue holds it firmly in place.
Spray this little puppy good. I decided to spray paint it because i wanted it to look like one piece rather than two pieces jined together. A marriage can sometimes use a little support. Ha!
Hook the chain of crystals to the loop in the jewelry clasp and yer done!
Clean styling is the way to go. One bud in small bottle is al you need!
I talk regularly about marrying junk and this piece is a good example. A vintage bell from a cash register, a sturdy little bed spring, and some crystals somehow become one. Here comes the bride!

I was staring at a bunch of these springs a few weeks ago and couldn’t figure out what to do with them. You did, and it came out great.
