Another Crazy Lamp
October 23rd, 2009 in blog, member junk
This is a first for me. I have built something out of junk to hold more junk. I’ve owned this Gold Bond paint bucket for years and was waiting for the right time to assemble one of my lamps. Well the time came when I decided to fabricate a piece to hold my collection of crusty old paint brushes. I don’t know why I like old brushes but I do…weird? The lamp was designed with a “Paint” theme because the bucket held paint and I needed a place for the crusty brush collection. I built the base to resemble an old paint tray and then painted it to match the colors and graphics off the bucket. There is NO reason to have this lamp on casters but I found four at the flea market, so guess what, it’s on casters.

The paint can is awesome, with the vibrant colors. The name cracks me up, because I never knew there was a brand of paint with that name. "Gold Bond" to me is foot powder!!!!
