Trophies have always been cool and always will be, so feel free to use them over and over and over again. I promise... they just never get old! The P. Coleman 2nd Place Team trophy is a timeless beauty. The fact that it is a bowling trophy makes it priceless!
This fragrant beauty is just the right touch for my baby grand.
Jewelery is not just for human necks. Let's face it...you can't wear all of your jewelry at one time so why not show it off around the house in between wearings? You've seen this bedazzler before. It was created by our very own JMS contributor, Gretchen. She gave me the bestest compliment the other day. She said that she felt like my home gave her a hug when she walked through the door. I say a home should provide two things. A hug and a smile. This necklace provides the hug and the bowling trophy provides the smile. Thanks for the hug Gretchen!
Wrap the chain around the neck of the trophy several times and hook the clasp. It does not get any easier than that.
Fall really is my favorite time of year. No sweltering heat and no bitter cold. The air is crisp, clean , and autumnly awesome. Dahlias are among my old-fashioned favs. They can be spendy, but if you take a trip to your local farmer's market you should be able to pick them up very inexpensively. Throw in some fragrant herbs like rosemary and thyme to sooth your soul.

After a long weekend on the road playing with flowers and junk always helps me unwind and get back into the swing of things. It's Junk Therapy 101 for me. There is hardly ever a need to run out and purchase a container, because what you have hanging about the house will do quite nicely. This container is a combo of two junk staples..trophies and junk jewelry. Throw some exquisite dahlias into the equation and you can consider yourself fully therapatized and ready to face Tuesday with a full head of steam. Remember, if you're keeping it simple, you don't always have to reinvent the wheel...you just have to give it a new hubcap. Sometimes old standbys are just the best!

This truly is my favorite floral post you've done, just because the simplicity of it is soooo doable, the flowers are gorgeous, love trophies, love jewelry, and love you!!!
You were so sweet with your words, and your house surely hugs me every time I'm in it. It would be my dream house and I could move right in with the warmth it already radiates. Of course, you'd need to leave it furnished. lol Posted: 9:40 am on September 15th

Well done!
