From "ick" to "slick"...Sconce Rescue

AFTER...slick!

I found these two outdoor sconces under a table at a garage sale...covered in grime, with broken glass and missing parts. My junker's instinct took hold and said, "Here's a diamond in the rough." So, I removed the tops, removed the glass, gave both a good scrubbing, reassembled them without the glass, and added some votives. Voila! Two fall/Halloween-inspired lanterns. Great for a tablescape or hung from a hook in the entry or on the porch to welcome trick-or-treaters (careful with the flame, of course!).
