Vintage Assemblage by gailmarie
Items used - vintage: clothes/shoe shine brushes, wood Dominos and lid from wood box, doorbell, aluminum butter dish top, coffee filter and lid, cheese grater/potato peeler, Walk-a-Matic, clothes hooks, wood pcs; baking pan, grater/zester, wire, screws, nuts and bolts
I fell in love with the doorbell at an antique store and had to go back for it a week later. LOVE the shape and color.
The domino set appears to have been given to customers from their pharmacist or local grocery store (my guess would be, during the 40s or 50s).
The Walk-a-Matic, was in its original box when I bought it. The artwork on the box was so 50-ish, I may use the box in a later project.
You can see the dominos a little bit better here (notice the words on some of them).
All right, Mr. De Mille, Im ready for my close-up...

(Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard)
Dont forget about me!!!!!

Your project is what this site is all about. Taking items that are destined to be tossed out and giving them a second life as something fun and creative.
