These beauties came from the local Re-Store and I think I got them for around $18 a piece. I just love their shabbiness and they make a dramatic statement as a headboard.
These were another eBay find but I had to have them because my BF travels a lot for his job and he brings home tons of toiletries and soaps from the hotels. Well, most of them are nice brands like Neutrogina and sometimes Bath and Body Works... so why wouldn't I put them out in the guest room for guests to choose what they want to use while they stay. Plus, they fit the black and white motif.

This is by no means an original project, but I thought I would post it anyway because it makes me happy. A while back I got some old wooden doors to make into a headboard for the guestroom. Originally I had planned to cut them down, but when we put all three behind the bed... well, we loved it! We fastened an old metal chippy basket with some flowers to the middle to give it one more piece of interest.

One of our local antique stores was closing down. I wanted to buy an old door to make into a table, but they were asking way too much $$$, especially for a place going out of business. Posted: 1:13 pm on September 8th
