Photo: I've been working about 1 1/2 hours a week at this junk/flea market store in a nearby little town in trade for a small booth there. The owner has a lot of good junk but also has some really cute flip flops, costume jewelry and a lot of bling. I thought she needed some signs to advertise what she has inside. No one would ever guess by all the junk outside. I made the flip flop sign out of blandex, primered then painted it yellow. I painted the straps, added a huge flower and stenciled flip flops on it. She was so surprised when I gave it to her. I also picked up a metal sign on a metal post at an auction for nothing, painted it black, glued some glitter around the edges and wrote 'bling' and 'jewelry' in glitter on it as well. She liked that too. Next I'm going to try to make a gigantic belt with bling to advertise those inside.

It is a fun little place! So many different kinds of treasures hiding inside! It is located in Tyro, Ks which is southeast Kansas. It's a very little town. As a matter of fact, this store sells pop and sandwhiches and it's the only place in town that does! Posted: 9:33 pm on September 3rd
