This was a labor of love and I LOVE it when my creativity is flowing. When I found the old broken milk stool my husband did a double take and frowned. He should know better by now! I added Felix the Cat from an old book (into a newer frame), a vintage chalkboard, and pieces from an old Scrabble game. The big challenge was to come up with an eraser that would fit in a slot on the top. I did it with an old child’s block and a few layers of felt. Just like Felix, I opened up my “magic bag of tricks” to pull the project together.
