Galvanized Feeder...before.
Somewhere out there a chicken is trudging back to its coop sad and hungry.

Galvanized Feeder...after.
Kind of looks like it should be in a Polynesian restaurant…has a slight Tiki appearance to it.

The more I gaze at this light the more I want a Mai Tai.

I created the light socket bracket by using my sophisticated machine shop technique of whacking things into shape with a rubber mallet.

I’ve owned this chicken feeder for years and had no idea what to do with it. (I don’t have any chickens) The thing was made specifically to feed poultry and didn’t lend itself to other uses. Butter dish…gross. Place to keep your toothbrushes…grosser. Hors d'oeuvre serving tray…maybe for chicken salad. I thought it would be best to keep anything that may end up in you mouth out of the design process. So with few options left it became a Nightlight.
