Cheese Grater Light Catcher
September 15th, 2008 in member junkAnother quickie grater project. Turned the grater into a sun catcher. Items: Flat grater, fishing line, buttons, hanging cord and crystals. Measure out fishing line for 6 crystals. Threaded the line through crystal and then through a grater hole, then threaded the line through the holes in the button and tied off (this eliminates the chance for the thread being cut after swaying in the breeze) repeat with remaining crystals. Place at equal distance to make uniform or however you choose. Attach the cord to each side used for hanging. ENJOY The total cost: grater 25 cents, buttons approx 25 cents, 6 crystals approx 50 cents each, fishing line 25 cents, cord to hang $1.00=less than $5.00

I actually ended up finding 3 graters, but didn't have enough time to do anything with them...(too many fleamarket projects going on at once I guess). Anyway, good luck!!
