I made these displays for my brother's store, Shell Beach Surf Shop in Shell Beach, Ca. I sandwiched circular metal grids salvaged from '50's-era under-sink cabinet doors between two pieces of cedar fence boards. I added metal hooks and vintage drawer-pulls for hanging necklaces and bracelets. i made hooks from paperclips to hang the earrings from the grids at the top. The bases are made of saw-horse brackets attached to wooden bases. The finished pieces were coated with spray urethane and - voila! - coolio store fixtures for almost 'nuthin!
