Stamp Box

I recently rediscovered this box I made years ago. It's an old wooden box my mother was about to throw out-- I decoupaged it with my collection of stamps, way back when I was...in...6th grade... This is probably my firstever junk project. I used a glue and water mixture of my own making because I don't think ModgePodge had been invented yet....
If you look closely you can see some of the stamp denominations....which will give a hint as to just how old this box is....
It has held up well all these...decades!

A simple lidded wooden box that was once used to ship a ceramic bowl....
...lots of colorful stamps....

I love to hear stories like yours. There’s nothing like rediscovering a piece that you made when you were a kid. I still have the first major piece of furniture I built in woodshop.
