Vintage Caster Easel with Bon Ami sign

Such an easy, quick project & the payoff is great! I generally hate easels as they are unattractive and I feel take away from whatever I am displaying on it. This one is perfect!
Quite by accident (HAPPY accident) the slogan, "Hasn't scratched yet" fits right between the casters.
The sign by itself.
It is obviously hand painted and then had stick-on letters applied to it. I assume that someone at a general store or an independent grocery made it to advertise in the store. I think it is folky & adorable. I had actually never heard of this product, but it is an abrasive cleanser similar to Comet apparently. (it seems everyone I know knew about it, but me)

This design is from the Junk Market Style magazine, (which makes me salivate every time I open it) and I just happened to find a place that sold antique casters for $3 per pair right after I saw the project, so I had to give it a try. The wood came from a broken, vintage picture frame and some pieces from a tiny, itty-bitty table that split in half on me. (never leave already warped, old wood furniture on your porch during monsoon season) The Bon Ami sign was free at a yard sale of an antiques dealer, by far the BEST kind of yard sale...
