I was looking for yall. I didnt see anyone on this site but I had to explain over and over about the web site. Might get some new people on here.
This is my new friend Judy Kazemersky. You might recognize her from the HGTV show about the 2008 yard sale. Lucky me has it recorded so I can go back and watch it again. HI JUDY
This is the area where I set up. It was a church that was selling spaces. Since I had shopped the sale before I knew I could drive and look for areas that rented out spaces. Lucky me got under a shade tree.
This is another area down the street from me. Just good junk.
If you cant find any antiques then antique your photo. My clever son did this.

Let me start by saying I am a JUNKER and not computer literate. My son took these pictures with his cell phone and I'm on his computer. Excuse any typing errors or other mistakes. His type is so small and on my computer it is so BIG. I am home long enough to pack more stuff in my car. Yes we left Louisiana and went to Tennessee to sell for 5 days and I'm home to do the wash and repack to head to Arkansas for the Baragins Galore on 64 sell this week. Last week I spent $5 on an old rusty metal and wood pulley.I hope to have more time to shop this week. But honestly I need to get rid of stuff before I buy more GOOD stuff.

shabbychick writes: Looks like huge fun - I know it seems to go on forever down there - a junker's dream!

And it's so cool that you showed off Junkmarketstyle - the more the merrier!! :) (I think I'll hang a sign at my space in September too!).

suewannabeinkc writes: We were in Tennessee that week and learned we would cross the sale's path, so we got off the interstate at 127 (Crossville) and shopped for the better part of the afternoon/evening. I can't believe how many sellers there were in just the mile or so from the highway we were able to cover! (So hot & humid too. We'd been in Minnesota in July - MN weather wins hands down!) I only wish there had been more room in our minivan for junk! (6 people and luggage doesn't leave much extra space! Next year they'll have to stay home) I found some great stuff! MimiToria writes: Wow, what a great JM fan you are. I'm sure Sue really appreciated all of the support and explanations that you gave out at your garage sale location regarding her JM site. The more members here, the more the site can do and provide for all of us. So each and everyone, go out and spread the word about this fabulous site, and help Sue out by helping it to grow to be what she dreams of it to become.
What a great son you have to help you out with computer skills and photographs. Keep keeping on and soon you'll be literate. We all have to start somewhere with all of this crazy electronic gadgets that can make our life so much more fulfilling.
Thanks for sharing the fun and exciting event you were part of. Sounds like a blast, and I hope you sold really well.

LuAnn writes: Sounds like you had a good time. If you can post pics of what you picked up. It's always exciting to see what others pick up. SO show us your stuff!!

JH and I are heading to the Michigan version of the 650 sale. We're geeked--making our game plan--what to look for--what route to take--and even down to what food/drinks are coming with us. I'm taking a four pack of wine (1 glass per bottle--not 4 large bottles)LOL. The best part is this sale goes along the "thumb" road way which is right on the water--lots of scenery.
