Selected a paper shade with a little rustic texture -- it contains threads, flower petals, leaves
Believe it or not I found a river rock with a hole in it--perfect to tie on as an embellishment.
...a warm and inviting glow...

This old bean pot lamp was also rescued from the throw-out pile and now matches its floor lamp cousin....

An old floor lamp that still worked but was headed for trash--at the last minute I decided to see if I could rescue it....with a roll of sisal rope and a hot glue gun.
