Old Store Front sign turned into an artpiece.  BY ACCIDENT!  An Antique store gives me their scrap wood to burn or use for projects.  I didn't know what was in all the stacks of wood.  I asked my husband to cut me around 10 12x12 pieces for my fabric wall art.  He told me he finished cutting them and were ready in the workshop.  Welllllll, I walked in the workshop and grabbed a few pieces and thought to myself.  Hmmmm, I like how these look.  To cool to cover with vintage fabric.  So, I sanded off some loose paint, arranged them on the table and screwed them together.   I just love these!
