Lotsa boxes...

There are tons of small things that mean a lot to me me in this table made from a printer's storage box.
The base of the table is our old iron firewood holder that we haven't used in years. I set the box on top of it, drilled two holes in the boxes that sat right over the iron bar on the top of the firewood caddy. Then using heavy duty fence wire, I wired the top to the stand.
I took the top to a glass shop and had them cut a piece of 1/4 in thick glass for the top and used silicone to attach it to the box. It isn't difficult to remove if I want to change the contents.
It sits on my front porch where we love to sit on summer days and watch the grass grow!!

Everything in the little boxes in this old printer's storage box means something to me. May not to anyone else, but that's ok, because it's mine! The glass easily comes off and the contents can be changed at any time!

This is fabulous......I have an old printer's drawer and I think I may have to turn it into a table now that I have seen yours. Your porch looks fabulous with all your vintage treasures.

You did such a great marriage of pieces! I love the green chippy paint & of course the fab bottles on the bottom.
Just a perfect setting!
