Okay, I don't really HAVE a cottage...yet.  But someday I will, and I'll welcome guests with this fun innertube welcome "wreath" hanging from an old oar stuck in a bucket of sand.  The innertube idea I borrowed from Sue's "Up North" innertube I saw somewhere.  Not sure where the rest of the project originated from.  Actually the sand hides the lower layer of cement holding the oar upright.

If any guests would happen to "pop-in" (as summertime guests are prone to do) and we were out having fun (as summertime cottage owners are prone to do), not to worry!  Before I head out, I'll spin the tube around to announce that I'm "out on the lake".  Or "at the beach", or "out having fun"!   So, my welcome wreath is now a message board.  Fun!

It's just too much fun, and I love how you can change it out for different messages - very ingenius my friend!! (And for the fisherman...don't forget "gone fishing") I should do one of these for my deck.
