Moving into 2nd Gear!!

You cant beat the shape and texture! Look at the shadow it creates!!
This was a birthday gift that my husband made for his motorhead friend!

Well, here is the second lamp that my hubby has put together from gear-shaped engine parts. The base is a small-block Chevrolet piston and the other parts are transmission gears. And guess what!...No welding involved!! The industrial nature of these lamps is a bit urban and a bit rustic. I completely love the shape created by the lamp and the way the light and shadow play out. The fact that it is made from "scrap metal" just makes my nature-loving self smile! :) If you know any racing or car fans, this would rev up their engine!! The gear shapes and metal also rev up some junkers' engines, too!
