A street light named desire...

The bottom is aluminum, but the dome is really pretty textured glass. Its not that great to look at during the day...
But once I cleaned it all up, and filled it with old strings of lights...
and put it out on my deck...
on a timer so it comes on at dusk and goes off at midnight, It gives off a nice  soft glow! The pictures dont do it justice, its really beautiful at night!!

I wish you could have seen my husband's face when I came home with this thing! I think it was an old street light fixture that was burried in the loft of a friend's barn. She was GLAD to get rid of it and I was thrilled to get it!
