Garden Angel

An old shovel, some old wood and wire fence border, a couple of old springs, and an old wire basket make up my version of Midges garden angel!

She guards one of the gates into my front yard. In the wire basket she holds a pot of gazanias, but that can easily be changed out season to season.

Even at night, there she is! Her Halo is just twisted fencing wire. The wings and arms are screwed into the wood handle of the shovel. I cant thank Midge enough for the GREAT idea!

Awhile back, Midge shared a really wonderful Garden Angel that she made, and I LOVED it, so I had to try making one for myself! Thanks SO much for the wonderful idea and the inspiration!
