Avocado Green ... NO MORE!
July 8th, 2009 in member junkThis is my first post to share a recent make-over. I started with an old, second-hand, avocado green, solid wood, mail caddy. Using a little paint, vintage book pages, a few rub-ons, some ribbon, and other trinkets, I transformed it into something a little nicer.
I've been reading the JunkMarket magazine articles and books for some time now, but I just recently found this site. I love it! I love seeing all the items shared here! Tons of FUN!!!
Thanks for letting me visit and inspiring all of us to play!

I ran out to Hobby Lobby yesterday and bought some rub-ons - thought I'd give it a try! Along with your project, there are some fun things being done with rub-ons here (Janis, etc...). Such a simple embellishment that adds so much!
Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see your next post!
