I have absolutely know Idea what this is, but when I found it, I couldn't believe my luck! It is about 12 inches across. Tea lights fit perfectly in the round openings, so it's first purpose could be a candle holder!
But, it also looks great with a plant in the center, so I guess that could be use # 2.
Flip it over, hang it up and it looks great as a wall hanging! I think it would be beautiful with a glass platter or plate on it too, so I'm excited to have a piece with so many possibilities!

A friend's of mine's elderly father passed away recently, leaving behind a house with 80 years of "junk"! The front yard was piled high with stuff they wanted to throw away, so of course she asked if we could go through it first, and they were more than happy to have us take anything we wanted away. This was just one of the treasures I brought home!

Know what you could do? Get a large candle for the center or a really cool planter, toss the wax candles from the tealights, poke some holes in the bottom of them and place some Scotch moss inside and put it in the middle of your patio table! I want I want I want...... Posted: 2:23 pm on August 2nd

How about installing little Christmas lights in the four holes and rigging it up to be a Christmas tree topper. I want it!

You are a lucky duck! The piece is wonderful. I was thinking how a cloche would look. Whatever you do it will be fab!
