Reece's Piano Staff for his Teacher

Jr. Junker made this wonderful piece of art for his piano teacher Debbie Lagomarsino. He gave it to her after his recital as it will be his last for a while. He wants to try the violin now.

This is a music staff made of bolts, old toy train tracks, washers and nuts. He picked out a part of a Shel Silverstein (his favorite poet) poem to go with it. It's perfect!


It read:
MUSICAL CAREER
She wanted to play the piano,
But her hands couldn't touch the keys
When her hands could final reach the keys
Her feet couldn't touch the floor.
When her hand could finally reach
And her feet could reach the floor
She didn't want to play that ol' piano
anymore.

monakent writes: This is extra cool to me, since I took piano lessons for over eight years and voice lessons for about five years. I LOVE anything that has to do with music. This project turned out so great!!! I can only guess how special this is to your piano teacher. I would absolutely LOVE this, hanging on my wall!!!
