Cast iron fire truck. To bad the other wheels werent in the bag, but the yellow ones will do.
Hook and ladder. Obviously the cowboy doesnt go with this piece, but he didnt have anywhere else to go.
This is the largest piece, but it has no wagon. Im pretty sure by the size that this rider goes with these horses.

I was at a yard sale the other day and got a large heavy baggie of cast iron toys. It was a mish mash of wheels and mysterious parts. The ladder truck was the biggest mystery to me as it was broken in half and I had no idea what it was supposed to be. After playing with the pieces for awhyle, I was able to piece it together. I have a left over set of yellow wheels. I bought the bag of junk to use in some mysterious art project and indeed, they may someday make it, but until then they are just so sweet and are on display in my studio.

The hook and ladder set was broken in half at the welding spots. I used that miracle putty stuff to hold it together, Hopefully that will work. The only toy that had the wheels attached was the large horse, so I realy had no idea that any of the parts would even go together. Posted: 2:37 pm on June 17th

PLease promise me you'll keep them the way they are now- they are great pieces that make a cool display and they do not need anything extra. Congrats! Posted: 4:07 pm on June 16th
