All dressed up with no where to go!

I found this ceramic figure of a little girl at an antique/junk store a year or so ago, and although I had no idea what I'd do with it, I had to have it. She is about 2 1/2 feet tall, and hollow. I discovered that when I drilled a hole through her!
Next, I mounted her on a birch round that I attached wheels to so that I could easily move it around. Through the center I put a piece of 1 inch copper pipe that I had in the shop.
I painted it red and distressed it.
Using scrap pieces of 3/4 inch copper pipe salvaged from part of a copper fence that we had to remove on our deck, I made the top part of what would soon be a coat rack.
It now sits at the top of our stairs and catches purses, jackets, hats and whatever!

This is made of a kind of chalky ceramic material, and I really have no idea what it's original purpose was. I just liked it. For now, she is a coat rack, but that could change at any time!
