I used pieces I had found at yard sales, and some fence rails left over from a salvaged metal fence my husband had gotten. Mostly kitchen stuff (jello molds, plates) and old silverware for the leaves. Just drilled holds and screwed the layers together to make the flowers. The leaves are old spoons and forks

The birdhouse was made from wood with a tin roof to look somewhat like my home perched on an old ladder.
