Bed Spring picture / card / recipe / note / holder

I simply clipped a postcard to this one.
Here, I used vintage cards for a graphic display in my office bookcase.
This also works great with a photo or print.
It can be used in the kitchen also to hold receipe cards.

I have to admit I was inspired by Sue's Junk Market book to make something out of a bed spring.  What I came up with was this "holder".  I sodered (with a bit of trial and error) an aligator clip to the top so it can hold a variety of different things.
