Tick-tock, senior year is on its way! I loved this newer vintage clock when I picked it up at an estate sale in California.
As always...the goods. A desk protector, vintage vinyl wall paper, a groovy barber dispenser, spray adhesive, a tape measure, scissors, Gorilla Super Glue, and Gorilla tape.
Here it is! I love the combo of black, white, green, and blue.
Is this cool or what?! This is a vintage container that hed barber tools. The top piece was broken, but I say so what! I'm not sure what I will do with the tools, but I'm sure I will come up with something!
I picked up the desk mat at a garage sale for a couple of bucks. It was scarred on the top, but nothing a littl gorilla tape couldn't fix!
Measure the flat surface of the protector.
Cut the vintage wallpaper to fit. Remember to leave enough to slide under the two side pieces.
Apply Gorilla Super glue to the edges of the flat surface to help adhere properly.
Spray back of wallpaper with adhesive and apply to flat surface of protector. Smooth out bubbles and slide under side pieces.
To finish edges use Gorilla tape. Apply to one side of edge, smooth out, the crease, bend and smooth to opposite side. All done!
Beautiful candles on restaurant saucers add ambiance. I'll bet she can reallt concentrate on her studies now! I guess maybe her mind will drift to her boyfriend, but a Mom can always hope!
The barber shop piece is ideal for holding desk accessories. Did I say that I love this piece? I do, I do, I do! She's going to have the coolest dorm room ever. I think I will move in next door. Please don't tell E.

My daughter, Elizabeth has been complaing lately that her study nook isn't up to par. I took a look at he room and suggested the removal of some of the clutter that only a teenager can create may solve the problem. She declined to answer. I think maybe she grunted, but I know it wasn't an answer. While she was away in China, I cleaned away the crud and gave her a new look. This will be able to move with her when she goes off to college. Oops, I forgot...we're not talking about that!

Your daughter is so blessed to have a mom that has a gift like you do.I keep telling you that you are special and the talent you have is only a gift that God has given you. It looks great what you have created in her room. It blows me away what all your friends can do and the fun they have doing it. Be looking forward to thursday to see what you can do with a Garage Sale. You are truly Blsssed. Robert Posted: 1:47 pm on June 3rd

I had big fun helping my daughter decorate when she went away to college (I know about the moving away thing...sometimes a sore subject with us Moms...) - but after graduation she moved to the east coast (smaller space)...now I've got a lot of it in my basement "in storage"! ha ha
