Here is my contest entry. Surprise, surprise...I went for pretty instead of useful. Never fails huh? Well, what I did is this... I got a flat grater at a thrift store. Added a nutmeg grinder with the little door on top to hold the nutmeg and removed the inside to make it hollow (this was a gift from a friend) crimped and  pounded a small fluted tin cup to the bottom, added three cinnamon sticks tied with a ribbon and some fall-ish greenery. I then wrapped the green rick-rack around the edges made some fringe that I weighed down with silver fishing weights. And that is that. It cost me probably $5.00 or less to do this groovy wall art. suewhitney writes: Way to go, Geo. You're right this is very pretty and LuAnn is right you can change it up with the seasons. If you don't sell it first that is!
Take care,
