CHeese Grater Contest
September 5th, 2008 in member junkHere is my contest entry. Surprise, surprise...I went for pretty instead of useful. Never fails huh? Well, what I did is this... I got a flat grater at a thrift store. Added a nutmeg grinder with the little door on top to hold the nutmeg and removed the inside to make it hollow (this was a gift from a friend) crimped and pounded a small fluted tin cup to the bottom, added three cinnamon sticks tied with a ribbon and some fall-ish greenery. I then wrapped the green rick-rack around the edges made some fringe that I weighed down with silver fishing weights. And that is that. It cost me probably $5.00 or less to do this groovy wall art.
