My dogs would go crazy when other dogs were walked by us.  I solved the problem by using a scrap piece of plexiglas and leftover fence pickets to cut out and fashion a "doggie porthole" or living room window for my dogs. Now that they can see the other dogs, they no longer go beserk. I later painted the gate and fence with leftover paint from other projects, and it looks very happy!
