Time for Junk! (part two!)

So much junk, so little time! A shiny metal plate, a circular grate type thing (what is it? I don't know. But I like it!) and a ring.
Gluing the bits together in layers with Weldit and putting the mechanism through the back (again glued to the back) and you have another great, almost mirrored, junk clock!
Branching away from pots, here's an old slide carousel, an electrical cover and clock from Ikea (from Salvation Army). I took the clock apart to get the mechanism out - very easy! There are slots in the back to take the plastic cover off, then you take the arms off and the mechanism comes out the back.
Using a hammer, I popped out the center of the mechanical plate, then glued the mechanism to it. Put a washer on the front to make it look interesting (and not black plastic!). Because you need to take the mechanism out to put in a battery, secured it with a metal clip and slipped it into the center of the carousel.

Here are more of the clocks that I made!!
