Garden Window "Nest"

I have a THING for old windows. Found this one (among many others) curbside, gratis. I found a wire doodad at the local craft store and didn't know what to do with it. So, I decided to make a quasi-shelf by screwing it into this old window.

The window is rather heavy (and weathered...ergo, weak!), and for security's sake I drilled holes in the back, added a good amount of wood glue, stuffed with toothpicks, and attached hanger hinges thusly.

I make all sorts of fun things with the windows. I probably have over 400 windows and doors in my sheds and back yard just waiting to be repurposed into something fantastic. Cute Bird accent.
