6 Months ago I moved into my new house and this was under the stairs in the basement. After wiping it down and plugging it in I found it is still in working order. I am trying to find out what it is worth if I were to try and sell it. All serial numbers match and it still has the origanal glas viles one of witch still contains liquid. Water???? Ether???? who knows.... Wow what a find.

Nice find!

First there were the shivers when I saw the pics - I HATE going to the dentist! But then I saw how cool these were and the beads of sweat subsided. WOW - great find!

Junk_Sophisticate writes: Ha! This looks like a lifesize version of Barbie's first profession. Totally cool and to have the entire set is pretty amazing! Oh, yeah...and monakent's thought about being used as theater props is pretty neat too! You definitely need to get them online for people to see.

AtticusFinch writes: AND PINK! Looks like it should be in a museum. Or the rinse bowl can be a bird bath. Have you checked the local archives to see who were the previous owners' of your home. This looks like an episode for "If Walls Could Talk". Posted: 8:22 pm on May 10th
georgiamoon writes: Oh my God I LOVE the happy little guy with the white bowl...he looks like a robot ready to serve you something good to eat. Sue bought one of these dental rinsing things at our local flea market and it is in her newest book...hers was blue. I don't know how much it is worth but is sure is FUN!!! monakent writes: OMG - what a find!!! Unbelievable. The first thing that came to mind when I saw your pictures, were shows our theater group could do with that equipment as props: Cactus Flower, Little Shop of Horrors, etc. The second thing was: "I wonder how much you could get for something like that?" Interesting that the equipment is in pink.... Best of luck trying to find a home for this stuff. VERY cool. gailmarie Posted: 6:18 pm on May 10th
JunkArchitect writes: If I found that in my basement I’d start attending dental school. Looks like the only thing missing in your photos is a patient. I’m no dentist but it’s gotta be worth a couple of hundred bucks. Posted: 5:25 pm on May 10th
