Here we see a lovely arrangement with an old postage scale, a covered vase and some diner dishes that I had in the store. Those are some HEAVY cookies!
This is the junk in its original state.
Here we go with the secoond stores treasures.
I love how the ice crusher actually holds the flowers in place with its sharp grinding wheel...DONT turn the handle!
Here we have the complete setting with our famous Cental  Coast Strawberries. I KNOW well be having those on Mothers Day.

Candy's beautiful arragements with her junk inspired me to see what I could find today at the thrift store to make some arrangements of my own. Sort of a mini challenge to myself. So this is what I came up with. First store I found the scale, the vase and  the fabic to cover the vase. Second one produced the ice crusher and candle stick. So this proves you don't really need to plan ahead...go ahead and wait for the last mintue...it works...sometimes!

Did you make this?
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.

You've done it again. Look at those beautiful ideas. And how did she like the cookies? I would of snagged them if I was there... I am assuming they are those chocolate molten lava bits of happy from Utopia?? Mercy!

You know, the ice crusher as a vase could come in handy for all the ladies whose man has done them wrong. Just shred any flowers they try to give you! Teehee.

Nice job, Miss Georgia Moon!

georgiamoon writes: Ok everybody...can we say ICE CRUSHER!!! Sounds SO much less hazardous and germy than "meat grinder". I'm gonna give her the white roses, she's a bit traditional. Happy Mom's day, Georgia Posted: 2:16 pm on May 10th

What an inspiring grouping of fun junk. You could give your mom the meat grinder for Mother’s Day…WITH the flowers…not just the grinder.
