With the season of junking, I always make some bags to tote my finds but this year I've been using old grain/coffee bean/oat sacks.

Georgia - I may be interested in some of those sacks when you can make down south. Like Janis said, they are all the rage in homes right now and I have just the right project for them.

Awesome job, CYB!

I'll bet they smell lovely, too! I also think you'll find that there will be a market for this kind of bag!

georgiamoon writes: These bags are great! There is so much you can do with the seed sacks. I have a connection to get these sacks and raw bolts of this fabric (with no printing or colors on the rolls). The sacks usually come with stripes of red or blue but no words. I will post when I get them in stock...just have to make time to drive South to get them. They are all the rage and I can't keep them in stock but I would give all my friends here on this site first dibs and a good price. I'll keep you "posted" Georgia Posted: 3:38 pm on May 9th

monakent writes: Very nice!!! I would suggest you make extras and carry them with you wherever you go. People may stop and ask where they can buy them. If the price is right, you may be able to sell them on the spot _ I know if I was at a sale and didn't carry a bag, I'd pay good money to have a cool one like yours! Great idea. Love the end results. gailmarie Posted: 10:39 am on May 8th
