vintage european military burlap chair
May 6th, 2009 in member junkI have some vintage european military bags. They are a fine woven burlap with some great lettering. Each bag is about the size of a twin bed. I knew that this would make a wonderful cushion cover on the right piece of furniture. I had this great chair with super ugly cushions. I decided this would be a good test case to see how the fabric would look. I love the organic feeling and texture. The simple 50's modern chair with loose cushions was a good beginning and a fun project.

Super nice transformation! The pillow is a very good addition!

Now, I come onto Junk Market and you've posted this wonderful post about your great redo, and I now have a visual of what my project can end up looking like. Thanks so much! Now, I've got to do this for sure, since seeing the results. It would add so much to the overall look of the bench, the comfort level and the appeal.
You always post great projects. Glad you're here on JMS.
