Junk Mama Birthday Gift for her Shabby Chic Daughter!

What's your shabby need? A candle holder, a serving platter, or a jewerly organizer?!

I think if I added a string of fake pearls and a pink candle...that might work...

Maybe I could use it for a platter and serve cookies on it?!

Or, another holder for my costume jewerly??

You can't tell now, but the wooden candle holder, at the bottom of this piece was brown and full of dripped wax at one point!  A little cleaning and some white paint...and a pretty plate..and oh la la and beautiful shabby piece with many potential uses was born!

I had a great time. My husband and I took our neice and nephew to the Milwaukee museum for a sleep over. What a blast!!! (and no, nothing came to life as the movie "Night at the Museum" showed.... Adam (6 yrs old) was a little worried about that at first). :o)
