When we replaced the old, rotted dock with a new one, we hated to discard the old dockboards. A recycled planter stand base finds new life as table legs.
The old paint and the revealed wood grain add charm to the piece.

Old deck boards and the repainted base from an old plant stand find new life as a table... on the rebuilt dock.

georgiamoon writes: This turned out very nicely. I love the old weathered boards and the memories off all the time spent on the old dock will live on with this repurposed table. Love the base too, Geo Posted: 4:11 pm on April 27th

monakent writes: LOVE how this turned out. The stand really adds to this piece. I especially like the design of the wire stand, next to the old wood table top. VERY good mix. As we say in the theater, "Bravo!" Can't wait to see what's next on your plate. gailmarie, bfa Posted: 6:28 pm on April 25th
