Yep, there we were out on the hunt for junk (imagine that) when we spotted a store that had our names written all over it. Yee haw! We drove around the all too familiar Minnesota road construction to get there only to find the gates locked. The stuff we saw just out of reach was awesome.

The sign read open the first Thursday through Monday of every month and every Sunday. We looked around and made mental notes of what we would come back for. As luck would have it the very next day was Sunday so we didn't have long to wait!

The journey back was well worth it. What did we find? A red shopping cart, a great cooler, amazing hardware, and even a turtle trap. I don't know yet what will become of the turtle trap, but I am sure it will be better used as home decor rather than trapping our cute little friends!

I have to admit that we found so many cool things we almost broke one of the golden junking rules; don't let your eyes be bigger than your Volkswagon bug. It was a tight squeeze, but we got 'er done. The workshop is now brimming with projects waiting to happen...stay tuned.

Take care,
